- The delivery is totally free worldwide.
- As soon as your order is sent, you receive a confirmation by email.
- La Poste, FedEx or DPD delivers your package. They are international carriers known for their reliability and they are used by many leading brands.
- Your package is sent in complete confidentiality with no mention of ordered items.
- Unfortunately, we cannot deliver all the countries. If your country is not on the list of the countries we can deliver, please feel free to contact us trough our contact form, by e-mail email@example.com or over the phone +41 21 552 02 23 so we can try to organize a special delivery for you.
We need between 2 to 6 weeks maximum to create and deliver your bespoke items and our selection pieces. We do our best to shorten this time lapse, already exceptional for unique creations.
If it is a present you wish to give soon, we suggest you to choose the Gift box that contains leather samples and a tapeline.
The delivery time for the accessories (buckles and cufflinks) is 8 business days.
We work closely with our delivery partners to reduce the impact of customs clearance on your delivery. However we cannot exclude an extension of the date because of the controls.
BESPOKE PIECES & OUR PIECES STAMPED WITH YOUR INITIALS RETURN
J.HOPENSTAND does not provide rebate, return or exchange for the delivered items, bespoke products or our selection with initials. However, we do understand your preoccupation about buying a design item online, this is why you can order some leather samples (all kind of leathers but karung and alligator because they are protected species and thus cause too important customs procedures).
PIECES NOT STAMPED WITH YOUR INITIALS RETURN
To allow you to try at home your ‘Our selection’ pieces (not stamped with your initials) and be sure you are satisfied with them, J.Hopenstand gives you the possibility to send the item(s) back and get a refund.
All ‘Our selection’ products (not stamped with your initials) can be sent back under 15 days provided that:
- The article is in perfect condition and was never worn
- The article is returned in its original packaging within a period of 15 days after the delivery date
- The customer is charged with the return shipping costs. Please note that those costs depend on your address.
We control all item that is sent back, and once we checked each condition has been respected we proceed with refund.
In order to know how you have to proceed to send an item back, please contact us with the contact form or call us at +41 21 552 02 23. We will do our best to answer you as soon as possible.
J.Hopenstand stands responsible for each item until it is delivered. We need a signature when you receive the package, time when you become responsible for your purchased product. If you chose another addressee (e.g. for a gift), you accept his/her signature is a proof of the delivery, the responsibility and the fulfillment of the order by J.Hopenstand.
Switzerland and European Union (Lichtenstein included)
The orders are shipped on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, which means that all relevant import taxes and duties will be included in the product price. No additional cost will be asked upon delivery.
Rest of the world
The orders are shipped on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis, which means that product prices displayed are exclusive of all taxes and duties. As the recipient you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to. These fees will have to be paid at the time of delivery.
We carefully check all our items before they leave our workshops. We ensure their quality and make sure they are not faulty before they are sent to the customers. In case you receive a defective product, please contact us immediately via our contact form or phoning +41 21 552 02 23.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
To purchase your goods you can use the following credit or payment cards: Visa®, MasterCard®, PostFinance Card®. Please indicate your credit card or payment card number, the expiration date and the security code on the provided page.
What is the security code on my credit card?
This unique 3-digit code protects all online transactions. For Visa and MasterCard, you will find it on the back of your credit card in the signature field.
All transactions made on www.jhopenstand.ch website are secured. The presence of a padlock on the side of the page address starting with " https " indicates you are in a secure environment.
Moreover, J.Hopenstand implemented security measures to protect the personal information you provide, against unauthorized access or use. However, please consider that Internet data transmission is never 100% secure and any information disclosed online can potentially be collected and used by other people than the ones you aimed at.

- No tax refund is possible, as local taxes are not levied for all exported items.
- Cards or other means of payment will be debited once we launch your order. In case we cannot debit the required amount, the production of your article will be postponed.
- We do not bill for companies. For further information, please contact us via our contact form or send an email at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
- J.Hopenstand takes no commission on the exchange rate as we use the average interbank rate of the day.
Your JH. Club account allows you to :
- visit your wardrobe with access to your former orders.
- visit your wishlist that registers your items created in our workshop.
- request an estimate for exceptional pieces of work. We will answer as soon as possible, telling you about the possibility, the price and timeframe of your request.
- update your account parameters: delivery address, billing address, phone number and waistline.
- change your login and password.
- delete your account.
- check the amount of money available on your gift-card.
If you have forgotten your password, click on “My account” in menu and find Password forgotten. Once you entered the e-mail used to create your account, you will receive a message to reset your password.
Modify or delete your customer account
You can modify or delete your account at any time, going into My account in the menu.
Once you deleted your account, you do not have access anymore to your information.
BOX & GIFT CARD
With J.Hopenstand you can buy a gift box for your beloved ones. Please go to the Gift section. Three options are available :
- A Virtual Gift Card that will be directly sent to the person of your choice by email
- A Gift Voucher, printed version that will be mailed within a period of 5 working days to a chosen address
- A Gift Box that includes a gift card, leather samples and a tapeline. The gift box costs 10 CHF and is free for all amounts above 300 CHF. It will be sent by mail within a period of 5 working days.
Please note you can load your gift card with any amount (steps of 10 CHF). However, we ask for a minimum of 50 CHF.
Please note that the delivery charges are offered for the gift cards and boxes.
